Welcome to Listening Lizard Daylilies!
A visit to Listening Lizard Daylilies is a true nature experience. Our garden is carved out of a mature forest; creating "a sunny riot of color in a shady peaceful wood."
As we celebrate our 11th daylily season, we offer you a wide selection of approximately 600 quality cultivars, from the old classics to the newer introductions. We bring in new cultivars from our display beds each year.
Terry hybridizes daylilies and grows between 2,000 to 4,000 seedlings a year. You will find his latest introductions along with some futures in these pages. We welcome garden visitors and mail orders. Our goals are to be friendly, helpful and generous. We enjoy educating new gardeners and sharing gardening experiences.
We have a daylily history and education slide show, as well as one on Terry's hybridizing program to share with garden clubs and gardening organizations. We retired educators just can't seem to stop.
Terry and Jennifer are members of the American Hemerocallis Society, and Terry is a past president of the Piedmont Daylily Club in Region 15.
With the exception of the newest cultivars, many of our plants will be sold as MULTIPLE FAN PLANTS FOR THE PRICE OF TWO FANS!! As a thank you to our loyal daylily friends, we are declaring 2008 OUR BARGAIN YEAR!!
