Welcome to the 2009 Daylily Season
at Listening Lizard Daylilies!

Dear Daylily Friends,

This year we are following the current trend of economizing.  We realize daylilies are not something one can use for paying the mortgage, for feeding or clothing the family and certainly not for running the car, but we do realize that some of us need the beauty of the daylily to nourish the soul.   Keeping this in mind, this year we have lowered prices on more daylilies than ever before!   Many plants are now $8 instead of $10 or $12 instead of 15, etc.

                As usual we will be giving bonuses of:
                  20% on all purchases of $25 and up
                                    and this year, 
                      we will also be giving bonuses of 
                    30% on all purchases of $50 and up!


Although bonus plants are chosen by us, we do appreciate your suggestions and try to honor them whenever possible.

Terry has some lovely introductions, pictured here on the website that are well worth seeing "in person."
He also has many georgeous seedlings that have been moved into the display beds.  We always welcome your comments on the seedlings, since our customer's opinions sometimes influence which cultivars we choose to introduce.

We are both members of the American Hemerocallis Society, and Terry is a past president of the Piedmont Daylily Club in Region 15.

We have a daylily history and education slide show, as well as a presentation one on Terry's hybridizing program to share with garden clubs and gardening organizations.  We retired educators just can't seem to stop.

We are open before and after these dates by appointment.  Please try to call at least one day in advance if you would like to arrange a visit to the garden.
